2026 Calendar
January 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday January 16th at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the following Friday, January 23rd at their respective class time.
Dojo will be closed on Monday January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Class will resume it’s regular schedule the following day, Tuesday January 20th.
February 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday February 6th at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the following Friday, February 13th at their respective class time.
Dojo will be closed on Monday February 16th in observance of President’s Day. Class will resume it’s regular schedule the following day, Tuesday February 17th.
Dojo will be open during Winter Recess break (Tuesday February 17th - Friday February 20th)

March 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday March 13th at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the following Friday, March 20th at their respective class time.
West America will take part in the Annual Alaskan Airlines Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco on March 7th! Be sure to tune in and keep an eye out for the demonstration teams and the instructors!
The Dojo will not be having classes on Friday March 27th for a Black Belt Test. The dojo will still be open, and it’s highly encouraged for students and observers alike to attend and support your fellow students testing for Black Belt, as you can see what’s in store and also support such a momentous occassion.
April 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday April 17th following Spring break, at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the Friday April 24th at their respective class time.
Dojo will be open during Spring break April 6th - April 10th

May 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday May 8th at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the following Friday, May 15th at their respective class time.
Dojo will be closed on Monday May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. The dojo will also be participating in the Annual Memorial Day Parade, the dojo will be practicing throughout the classes in May for the parade. Please show your support for the dojo by coming by and marching with us and show off your martial arts skills!
June 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday June 5th at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the following Friday, June 12th at their respective class time.
Dojo will be hosting our Summer Camps starting Monday June 22nd. Daily training, different daily field trips, and plenty of fun! For more information see our Summer Camp section of our website.
Also starting Monday June 22nd, our Summer Schedule goes into effect through Wednesday August 19th. Please look towards our Class Schedule for this information.
July 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday July 10th at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the following Friday, July 17th at their respective class time.
Dojo will be closed on Tuesday July 3rd in observance of Independence Day.
Dojo will also be having Summer Camp on the week of July 4th (June 29th - July 2nd).
August 2026
The dojo will not be having class on August 8th due to Black Belt Testing. Feel free to come in and support your fellow students and potential black belts! Test starts at 4 PM and likely to run towards 8 PM.
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday August 14th at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the following Friday, August 21st at their respective class time.
Last Day of Summer Camp will be on the week of August 17 - 19th.
Reminder that on Thursday August 20th, our Summer Schedule will come to an end and the school year schedule will go back into effect.
September 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday September 11th at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the following Friday, September 18th at their respective class time.
Dojo will be closed on Monday September 7th in observance of Labor Day.
Dojo will be closed on Friday September 25th in Honor of Sensei.
October 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday October 9th at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the following Friday, October 16th at their respective class time.
November 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday November 13th at their respective class time.
All Advanced Belt Tests will be on Friday, November 20th at their respective class time.
Dojo will be closed on Wednesday November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day
Dojo will be closed on Thursday November 26th and Friday November 27th in observance of Thanksgiving Day. We will have normal class schedule throughout the weekdays of Monday November 23rd, Tuesday November 24th, and Wednesday November 25th.
We will be hosting a 3-Day Thanksgiving Week Camp on Monday through Wednesday (11/23 - 11/25).
December 2026
All Color Belt Testing will be on Friday December 4th at their respective class time.
All Color Belt Make up Tests and Advanced Belt Tests will be on the following Friday December 11th at their respective class time.
WATKD will be hosting our annual Holiday Potluck Party on Thursday December 10th! Doors will be opening at 5:00PM with performances from our demonstration team as well as your instructors around 6:00PM, followed by Student Awards! Bring your friends, bring some food, and enjoy yourselves!
Dojo will be closed on Monday December 21st through December 25th. The dojo will resume its normal class schedule Monday December 28th.
